Africa... Simplistic hand-drawn images painted over painted in acrylic. For me, the use of various mediums helps to show the best these images can be. With the exception of Morocco, Africa is one continent unchartered by me so here I work without personal experience, particularly in the Sub-Saharan imagery. However, I invited my Nigerian friends to give an opinion and they seemed to feel that they radiate the right feeling. This style which I've named 'Abstracted Cubism'! is new to me and I've enjoyed watching them come together.

Method

The originals vary in size and are mixed-media. Mainly hand-drawn and over-painted with acrylic on panels.
